In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: it goes on.

Not until the human brain can be cloned and wired up to a keyboard and a mouse will AI ever come close to resembling true neural response learning, the ability to reason intuitively, and to knowing the difference between right and wrong.

Life is full of bumps and twists in the road, an occasional U-turn or two and seemingly insurmountable roadblocks along the way.
The trick is navigating the maze of life safely, with humility, and learning to enjoy the ride.

Separated only by unique life experiences from one another, in the end, we’re all the same. We simply want to be understood.

When the last neurons are firing through our brain and the bright light into the afterlife is revealed we will not wish to have had more money or more things. We will want more time, good health, and more love.

Technology is fueling the evolution of our world. In the near future the bulk of material wealth will be reserved for those closest to the technological cycle. Those persons unfit or unwilling to adapt to the rapid pace of technological change will be relegated to serve those who are.

Social media has created a false reality where people and ideas are viewed through the lens of misperception. Instead of breaking down the barriers raised by misperception, social media provides the platform to enable it. In practice, social media enables people to publish whatever they want without forethought of the impact on society at large.

It may seem like the world conspires against us. But mostly, we conspire against ourselves. Until we understand we are in fact deserving of all the world has to offer we will fall victim to our own self-limiting beliefs. The trick is to believe you are deserving and you will become deserving.

Nearly every human on earth desires to be understood. Whether we’re looking for love or simply conversing with other people, we want to be understood and validated so much that we gravitate toward like-minded people. We fall in love with someone who understands us. We congregate, join groups, follow trends, all in an effort to be understood and moreover, accepted. In a perfect world our focus would be to understand and accept.

Social media has literally robbed an entire generation its ability to think on their own. To have an opinion that other people might disagree with – and to stand by that opinion – this is the foundation on which individual liberty was built. Yet social media managed to burn individual liberty to the ground under the guise of social justice – all inside of ten years. In the halls of Menlo Park its one way or the highway. But by all means, knock yourself out. Run with the herd. Perpetuate the destruction of brotherly love. Buy into the lie these self-proclaimed boy Gods have sold you – that they somehow have the answer to all earthly ills, that they somehow, through their infinite wisdom will create a utopia where anyone can do anything they want as long as you bow to the almighty App and sacrifice your individuality at the altar of reason.

As simple as it sounds, one of the first steps toward happiness is to be yourself. Think for yourself. Never compromise your beliefs to appease an aggressor.

When I started building this app my goal was to get people off their devices. Our feed is peppered with messages to shut down, log out, and turn off your phones or laptops. However, while you are here our aim is to lift you up and give you cause to live your life free from the judgement, and judging, of others.

Our own internal dialog can be our greatest champion or our own worst enemy. We make hundreds of seemingly benign choices every day as we process what comes our way. A small challenge, a massive challenge, each one we process through the filter of life experience. Our personal experiences act as a subconscious database, as it were, from which our conscious responses are drawn like photos we attach to a text. The trick is to choose the photos we pull from our minds very carefully as they define our response to the outside world and hence, the reactions we receive in return. It is a virtual loop we repeat in our minds every day, all day long. So make your inner voice work for you. Face a challenge and train your brain to respond with the most supportive data you have stored in that beautiful database you call your mind.

It is an undisputed fact that if we spend less time on the Internet, less time staring at our phones, and more time doing real things like exercising, or reading, or doing something fun we will be happier and have better lives.

The happiest day of my life will be when I am no longer strapped to a keyboard, beholding to the almighty cell phone, or roped into online meeting after online meeting. That will be a good day.

Everyone needs to recharge. There is no substitute for decoupling from everyday life. Go to your favorite place and do something you love. Do it as often as you can without bordering on the irresponsible. It is the fuel we need to push through the responsibilities we all have, every day of our lives.

Your clicks, swipes, views, comments, texts, posts, selfies, opinions, attitude, biases, sexual preference, religious views, shopping habits, friends, connections, location, virtually everything action you take as it relates to interacting with your cell phone is being turned into money with no regard to your privacy or mental wellbeing. You are simply a means to their end.

Sometimes we need to take life seriously, sometimes not. Ergo, life is life. The more it changes, the more it stays the same.

There is no substitute for maintaining good health. With good health comes a better chance of living a long and productive life. Eat real food. Exercise. Be strong and live the best life you can live.

Social media single-handedly killed objectivity. It facilitates the concentration of unedited content on platforms where people say whatever they want without fear of material consequence. The result is that the few who hold no regard for the consequence of their actions are empowered to eviscerate anyone or any idea that runs contrary to the false narratives they broadcast. We owe it to our children to come up with something better. Modern social media was created by frat mentality with no regard to the impact on the human psyche whatsoever. These boy Gods knew not what they created. They knew only that they could. And they were given hundreds of millions of dollars to do it. They hacked the lives of billions of people and we unwittingly went along with lie, after lie, after lie as to their true intent; to completely dominate your online habits, attitudes, thoughts, and actions.

The social feedback loop is perhaps the most morally destructive manmade construct in human history. And we sold our souls to it. If that is not the definition of mass insanity nothing is.
